This morning, the last loving stitches were made to the new collection of Tuppence. . . a bag for just a little.
These little bags are handspun, handknit, felted, embellished, and stitched here at the studio. A lot of David’s Elf Help has been consumed here this summer!
They are ridiculously enjoyable to make. Working on a small scale makes each step so rich and satisfying. They are designed on the needles, so daily experiences will inevitably be reflected in each piece. Clearly the elves have been spending their spare time playing in the forest!
The new collection was delivered to the Circle Craft Shop on Granville Island today and will be for sale when the wonderful staff members have worked their magic.
