Fair Isle students have spent the summer in ‘fair isle school’ at the Working Hands Fibre Arts Studio and at three bags full, working through the process of knitting a traditional fair isle cardigan. Beginning with a gauge and colour swatch, many adjustments were made to the shaping and colourways of these beautiful cardigans. The result is an array of works in progress, that all fit beautifully. The variety of colour choices is stunning! As the cooler autumn evenings approach, the sweaters are coming together and being cut apart, sometimes in the same class! See project details on ravelry.
